With a background in systemic therapy and a Master of Science from Northwestern University, she brings a deep understanding of human systems and dynamics to every proposal, client call, and collaborative brainstorm.

As a grant writer at Just Look Left, Bethany is our go-to octopus: flexible, intuitive, and always ready to support wherever needed. She wears a lot of hats (and wears them well): cultivating strong client relationships, supporting our team of incredible writers, and crafting powerful, funder-aligned grants that reflect the heart of each organization’s mission.

A forever optimist obsessed with the art and science of growth, Bethany is specifically trained to navigate complex relational dynamics with clarity and care, skills that seamlessly translate into the collaborative, high-touch work we do with nonprofits and funders. She believes deeply in the power of relationships, and she's passionate about doing work that creates real, measurable, human-centered change, which just happens to be Just Look Left's specialty.

Outside of work, you can find her in Colorado bragging about her non-profit client's impact and latest grant wins, tending to her private therapy practice Bethany Bedford Therapy, cooking paella, drooling over psychological research, recharging in nature, and exploring new ways to help people and systems heal, connect, and thrive.
